My work is primarily about relationships. Sometimes it is as simple as the relationship between two objects in space or between light and dark or different colors, but usually I use my work as a way of exploring and celebrating relationships that are much more complex.

I am interested in the relationships we as human beings have with each other and with the past, the relationships we have with the Spirits and with the Earth and of course the relationships we as individuals have with our family, friends and selves.

Through literature, history, observation, memory and dreams I connect with my subjects and through imagination, thought and again, observation, my hands try to make visible the yearnings and ponderings of my heart and mind.
