Redwood City, CA – With the holiday season upon us The Main Gallery is pleased to present “Merry at Main”, the annual holiday show. The exhibition will be on view November 21st through December 29th. The Gallery is located at 1018 Main Street in Redwood City and will host a reception with the artists, serving drinks and hors d’oeuvres on Sunday, December 2nd, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please join us, meet the artists and find your unique and inspiring gifts for the holidays!

The gallery artists have brought you an eclectic mix of art some of which is listed here;

Susan Wolf has festive multicolored stemmed ‘Eggnog cups’ along with angel-shaped tea light covers on display. Doris Fischer-Colbrie has sets of bowls that stack and nest, vase forms, platters and cake testers. Fischer-Colbrie states, “I’m primarily working on forms to amuse and entertain as well as forms to use for entertainment.” Nina Koepcke’s ceramic menorahs will add the finishing touch of holiday cheer to your party!

Just in time for the Holiday Season Elfi Altendorfer brings you her new, showoff chic glam collection—Bring Back the Bling. “Each jewelry piece I create is made from start to finish with a creative and artistic soul in mind. Swarovski Crystals, fire polished Czech glass beads, pearls and bold metal elements make every necklace, bracelet or set of earrings intriguingly different.” says Altendorfer.

You will be able to find those special Christmas ornaments, menorahs and Solstice items among the other many items on display. Katinka Hartmetz has her shrinky-dink animal and organic shape ornaments with beads this year along with a chandelier that has “everything but the kitchen sink in it!” states Hartmetz. Belinda Chlouber’s charming poetry inspired 2”x3” mixed media paintings come with a handmade cloth gift bag which make a wonderful present for a budding art collector! And Ginger Slonaker has one of a kind hand painted cloth napkins and bags. Don’t miss “Merry at Main”!

The Main Gallery, an artists’ cooperative with some 23 members, showcases the work of some of the best local talent in the Bay Area.
