Robert Terrebonne is a fine art photographer who celebrates the colors and patterns found in nature. For the subjects of his photos he most often chooses trees, flowers, and other natural objects. His strives to capture something not obvious to the casual viewer, using his skills in close-up photography to show the beauty in small things. His photos reveal patterns of color and form like an abstract painting.
He has taken photography classes from the University of California-Santa Cruz and has developed his skills photographing the abundant natural beauty in Maui and the other Hawaiian Islands as well as in California and the Southwest.
In California his photographs have been selected for various juried exhibits, including shows at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto and the Annual Bay Arts Exhibits of the San Mateo County Arts Council. On Maui his photographs have been included in juried shows at the Village Galleries/Contemporary, the Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center, and Art Maui, held at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center.
