"Let the eyes see from the inside out" — Edward Weston

When Ruth Bernhardt asked me why I photograph, I didn’t have an answer for her. She then said, “it’s your passion, isn’t it?” Yes it is and has been for most of my life.

I see and respond to the beauty in Nature and preserve it as best I can with my camera and these days with digital equipment. My goal is to express feelings through my vision of the subject and share it with others. When my photographic image arouses a feeling in you I have done my job well. I have been inspired and taught by many including Ansel Adams, Phillip Hyde, Brett Weston, and other West Coast masters. My work is dedicated to all that unselfishly gave me so much.

I print sizes 8”x10” to 21”x30”.
